You came here unannounced, and you don’t even know where ‘here’ is right now. Besides needing time to process all of this and think about what to do, you didn’t want to bother someone that doesn’t look the most friendly. As you select the option, a window almost resembling a task manager comes up, a space at the top the listed the current operation selected and its status. Your HUD remains, detailing various aspects of your current situation and what you were looking at. A large, light brown, fluffy tail greets you as you part away the grass, the little being it belonged to crouched down in a defensive stance. It appeared to be a dog of some kind, a small one, with a lot of overgrown fur around its neck with what looked like a bunch of rocks stuck in it. There was bits of dirt caught in its coat in places, like it had been rolling around or digging in it. If only from the large ears it had, you would assume this was a rabbit, but even that made you question what you were seeing. Its ears were long, very long, with what looked like large tufts of crème colored fur at the ends. The same color fur covered the lower half of its body, even its footpaws, but barring its round, brown tail. The room in front of you radiated light steam, immediately making you break out into a light sweat. A quick look ahead of you revealed just why you felt so steamy: hot springs. A lot of them, small pools in this large underground cavern with a lot of steam coming out of them. There didn’t seem to be anyone else around here, but there was some signage around that made the whole thing feel like a bathhouse from an anime or something. Some of the pools were much too small for anyone of your size to fit into, but you could make out at least three that, if you chose to do so, would be large enough for you to enter. While perhaps not the brightest decision, since you’re dealing with who knows what, you try to decline the invitation, as politely as possible. But before you can get all the words out, you feel an odd force surround you, pulling you inside. You can hear the door shut behind you as you get your bearings after the sudden pulling, the sound of a lock clicking. The three beings seem just as jovial as when you first saw them, unperturbed by your initial refusal. They continue to play their little game, leaving you mostly to your own devices. Forget reading this stuff, you can barely wrap your head around it anyway. You always thought of yourself as more of a ‘learn by doing’ type anyway. So you roll up your sleeves and get ready to let out your inner scientist, looking over the various chemicals still sitting on the table. You have a wide array of stuff to work from, liquids in containers and beakers you could only really identify by the colors of them. Red, blue, and yellow were the only ones you think you could feasibly lift properly, many of the others having labels that had a comical skull and crossbones label on them (probably best not to use them, you figure).

You know, some of the stuff on that takeout menu looked kind of nice… There must be a way to call out for it around here, if whoever was using this place kept the menu around! That might be the easiest way out of this place, yeah! You almost want to pat yourself on the back for thinking of something so smart! Reinvigorated, you search around the table and look along the walls for a phone, landline or otherwise. And while you don’t find anything that resembles a phone, there is a button under all those papers that is just labeled ‘OUTGOING’. Outgoing,,, calls? It’s worth as much of a shot as anything around here.

First things first, you should probably scan this room to make sure you do not miss any hidden exits or blow anything up during your departure. With a simple mental command, you start going through your various scanning modes, your head on a swivel as you look around the room. And right away, you can see that a large space exists beyond a section of the wall, like a hidden passage. It is little effort for you to tear that part of the wall off with your new body, setting it aside as you gain access to a new area to explore and scan. The little being wasn’t so much scary as cute, and it seemed to be fairly docile, so you figure there would be little harm in talking to it.
